Freya/Venus’ Day
So, how is this morning going? Exhausted from Turkey Day activities? Tired of holding counter-culture energy around this day in the US? Tired of holding your own integrity through the muggle maelstrom? Weary of what is happening all over the world? Waking up to yet another day where the vibe is entirely different from what it is where I live? {I hope so.} No holiday madness? Nothing but the onrushing energy of yet another sunrise? Or, do you feel them all? I can report that the All is not crazy-making, but it is a bit intense and requires practice to experience in balance.
One learns to let Source hold the daily energy and to allow internal focus to be guided to where it needs to be. Today is a hinge day. It is an end to a certain kind of performance energy and the beginning of something else. What, then? That is up to each of us within the fractals of Source that we embody.
Think of a hinge. A tool that allows flexibility of a certain kind and in a specific direction. A hinge lets something swing back and forth. One might assume {never a good idea} that today’s hinnge fluctuates between old energies and new. Not exactly. This hinge is an opportunity to allow many openings at once. what if this is a revolving door with infinite potential? What if each minute adjustment of its aperture leads somewhere unique? Perhaps the door will be removed from this point. Perhaps many opportunities will close.
When we ask “what next?” we tend to focus on the physical world. Our minds have the habit of doing, of taking action. We think of action steps. Inner action is demanded of us at this point. Stillness is the key that unlocks any portal, especially the one(s) we embody. What steps through you into other realms? Are you weary of the trampling? Is your doormat cycle over? Is it time to allow something else to transpire?
Asked another way, “Where have you been the gateway so that other energies might move forward?” If you let this go, what immediately shows up knocking loudly, demanding entry, telling you that you have abandoned some purpose or other? Must you continue to hold that doorframe, or is there a hinge opportunity manifesting? When the hinge departs, new configurations emerge. Are you ready? Are you willing to ask what Source has been holding through you, and are you ready to be flexible on that?
Listen to the voice that always says “yes” and back up a step. This is not a cautionary measure, but one of wisdom. This is an opportunity to let go of the dictates of the mind. What wisdom wants to move through you as an embodiment of enlightened awareness {Source Essence}? This is not something we decide. It is a surrendered choice and a heartfelt commitment. And it is a blessing beyond belief.
When we think we know, it is an opportunity to check our premises. Where did that sense of knowing come from? You may be experienced with this choice, this experience. A wider hinge, like the revolving door, will appear. What if it has always been ready to open to new realities?
The geese are in full flight this morning. Their daily formation rises into the light of the Sun. Do they feel the hinge energy or fly right through it into something new each day? Their cacophonous chorus is a gift. A way to greet the dawn of a new day.
Freya is a Norse Goddess who drives the chariot of the Sun, a warrior of blessing and abundance. Venus glows in the night sky as a beacon of the heart. When they share a day {Friday} we are indeed blessed. Where is your Heart Chariot headed today?
