New Moon Tomorrow

The new moon in Libra forms tomorrow, ushering in opportunity for relating more deeply and honestly with the Source that we are. We so often think about relating as external, when the most important relating we do is within. Therein lies the last gasp of separation. As individuated, ambulatory expressions of what some call Presence, how do we relate?

A new moon is a new beginning and is often preceded by a release of what has been hiding behind incompletely reflected light. We are faced with what and how we reflect, both outward and inwardly. What are we reflecting outward into life and how does that mirror our inner reflections? What do we reflect to ourselves that might be incomplete or even imaginary?

Our encyclopedic references have more than one definition of reflection. Key points have to do with waveforms, as do all things in our lives. Reflection generally means “the bouncing back of a wave, image, or thought from a surface or medium.” That medium is usually some form of our environment and creates our perception of life. In other words, we create filters to confirm what life reflects to us.

In physics, reflection is the change in direction of a wavefront at an interface between two different media so that the wavefront returns into the medium from which it originated. All projected light returns to the Source from when it came. When we reflect upon the light within, how then can we help but mirror its radiance, to ourselves, and others? How do our reflections change, or do all mirrors finaly become transparent?

What is visible as reflected light is often not what we imagine it might be. This new moon is a breath between reflections.

As we breathe in the space between and are breathed in by it, we re-set. Happy deep diving and re-setting as we surface into reconfigured light.

Don’t forget to set intentions!
