A Blessed Equinox

This morning marks the exact alignment of the March Equinox. Though we have been in the window for many days, the exact alignment is worth noting. This is a time of decluttering of mind and heart, as well as the environment. A time for full presence as the wheel of life turns once again. Here, in the Northern Hemisphere, the Equinox marks the beginning of Spring. New life, new hope, new wonder. An opportunity to begin again, to re-intend our way of living.

The leader tree across the way has burst into blossom. Daffodils stand straight and tall with lifted crowns. A lone hyacinth has braved the change, lifting its purple head to the sunrise after being frost-kissed two nights ago. Thank you for making an effort, lovely. Your rich purple presence is acknowledged. It was a hot night last night, comparatively. Are the temperatures in support of a new day? A new way?

The Vedas speak of the still point between the turning worlds. An Equinox marks such a moment of wonder. May today be such a day for us all. May the zero-point of Aries bring a new cycle in its wake. May this moment of balance and renewal permeate all lives and all worlds.

The new moon, 37 hours ago, aligned at 28 degrees of the sign of Pisces, marking the weary yet gentle completion of another zodiacal cycle. Deep dredging with the largest yet most refined of cosmic brushes. At such an alignment, we can sing all blessings forward while establishing intent for more to come. May we enjoy them all as the magic of this still moment blesses us.
