An Evolution of Stillness
Today is the 6th of the month of June, 2025. It is an alleged 6/6 portal. What can that mean? Numerology states that ‘6’ is the number of embodied heart. It represents unconditional love and the ability to support, nurture, and heal. The single digit ‘6’ relates to self-nurturing and also to care and compassion for others. Its vibration is the essence of love and kindness. So how does that relate to the calendar and human projections onto a 6/6 alignment?
This alignment can be said to double the power of love and loving-kindness. Sometimes, the kindest way we can be is to be still. Roshini and I used to play a game on springtime morning walks. Baby cottontails were plentiful. The little ones would turn into bunny statues at our approach. Our game was to see if we could be still longer than they. We never won, of course. Roshini’s nose told her that the little white flags, though still, absolutely begged to be chased. Thank goodness for flexi-leads. Roshini would lose focus for just a second, and off the little one would zip. The bunnies always got away. The little bundles of zippiness added such delight to our mornings.
I remember, on one of our first morning walks, as I began to heal from a stroke, we came upon a young rabbit seemingly frozen solid at the side of the road. With my healing eyesight, I was at first unsure if this was a living being or someone’s idea of a joke. Then I heard its heartbeat. I wondered, still a bit blurrily, if it would run. Much to my delight, the rabbit stayed absolutely still, its little nose not even quivering, as we passed by. I felt Roshini’s heart message to be still and not to worry, as she was taking great care of my healing body. Had she jerked the lead, I might have fallen over. Yet, in that moment of pure stillness, all was well. All was taken care of, loved, and cherished. The moment seemed to last forever, even as we made our way along the road.
Today’s alignment holds deep heart energies into which we can release all within us that might still be afraid to love.
What is trust in Source, if not divine love moving through us? As I sit, absolutely still like a bunny, that love runs deeper and truer than ever before. Why not take today’s opportunity to rest in love’s arms? This, in my experience, is the essence of meditation. Loving stillness, enfolded in the Great Mother’s embrace. All creation is born from this.
The Goddess Sige, daughter of Creatrix Sophia, personifies Stillness. Her message is to slow down, take quiet time, turn off the noise, and disconnect from the haste. She has been much with me, of late. She soothes, “Be still. Reverence will find you. As that happens, there is a radiance of peace that flows from you that any being attuned to the web of life can perceive.” You know. You remember. The elements, elementals, and all sentient embodiments know this resonance. May today’s alignment assist us in re-membering.
Ssssh. Be still in the quiet of your heart, and bask in glorious Grace.
