Cosmic Balancing

This morning I watched a video during which Sadhguru announced to his Issha community that 80 of their members had been present in a building that was destroyed in the recent avalanche in Nepal. The official death toll in the area numbers 484 at the moment. More will be revealed. Hearts were broken open, and the wheel turns.

Members of the Issha community could be heard weeping in the video, as did Sadhguru himself. Why might such an event happen in such a sacred place? Must it truly take what is called a “tragedy” of this magnitude to open the hearts of a larger collective? Is that area of the world still deemed sacred, or has it been in need of balancing? Source knows. Gaia listens.

This past week, country icon Dolly Parton passed, as did actor Tim Curry. The juxtaposition of the departure of the Hollywood icons and the devastation in Nepal touched me, as the “tear in the eye of the Buddha” became reality. It has often, of late. I am not the only one breaking into tears, apparently over nothing. A great wave is purging our hearts.

“The cracks are where the light gets in” ~ Leonard Cohen

Compassion wears many faces, Dolly has been videoed as saying she was happy to put down the “…golden wigs and heavy rhinestones and stupid sequins.” She also said, “Looking cheap has a price.” I don’t think she meant the gowns. Looking any way to please others demands the only unsustainable price.

Was Tim Curry, of Rocky Horror fame, tired of living down or living with that early outrageous role? Did it matter to him? Do we ever truly know what matters to another? Someone we love, a four-legged or winged or finned one? What matters to what we call an angel? We make assumptions, and when do those ever work out?

Our world, our lovely Gaia, will not be the world we have known, nor the world we have made, after the events of this time period. What has gone before is most decidedly over, and last night’s lunar eclipse in Pisces spoke directly to that truth.

What is unmasked or leaving whose shift has simply arrived? All such shifts happen internally first. Identities we have spent lifetimes building and supporting, have dissolved around us. Many will act as if, as if those particular Emperors are still, however scantily, clothed. We need not play along. Why bother? Why not look beyond what seems to be and perceive what we can of truth in the moment?

Kali has performed her function surgically and well. And this is not over. The “fat lady” has not even warmed up. The cosmic symphony will be grand.

What if those present in Nepal are already busy working to aid this transition, in new forms? What if each is enjoying a well-earned rest? What if there is much cosmic laughter at our cluelessness? What if what we might see as tragedy was a blessing? Is a quick transition with no warning better, or somehow more merciful, than a long slow march through cancer? Do any of us know for sure? Inwardly we know. Our Source Essence, that which we truly are, always knows. Perhaps that is what scares the human mind the most. Not Knowing terrifies the mind. So does believing in what we think we know. What if this polarity has just dissolved?

To those recently departed and those still embodying the torch, blessings. We all carry all of the Great Mother’s love and support.

Let not our hearts be troubled. There is enough of that brewing!

What we feel is what we feel. What we can be is the light, the peace, the love and the joy.

Namaste & Blessed Being~
